Sales Associate and Distributor Network
|
Worldwide Sales Network. Bamboo Technologies (BT) is building a global network of independent sales associates and distributors. BT has sales associates in Hawaii, California, Washington, Florida, New York, Caribbean Islands, Central America and Pacific Islands.
|
Referrals. Bamboo Homeowners and Sales Associates can earn referral fees by showing bamboo houses and bringing new customers to the company.
|
Sales Associates. Independent Sales Associates may be bamboo homeowners who have gone through the process, bamboo products distributors, or builders who have assembled bamboo houses, or architects or contractors. Some sales associates are builders who may become involved in house assembly and installation.
|
Distributors. Those who become wholesalers to buy and resell bamboo buildings may typically earn a larger margin than sales associates. This arrangement is suited for a remote location or a country where a local business will import and resell houses.
|
Developers. Companies or individuals may partner with BT under a joint venture agreement in which BT has a role partnering in the development project, providing the bamboo buildings. Developers may act as distributors, buying bamboo homes as part of their larger project.

International Bamboo Building Design Competition. Contestants registered from 64 countries and submitted 250 designs in 12 building categories such as family housing, urban buildings, emergency shelters, commercial and public buildings and even treehouses. The Competition has announced the 4 top award winners. The 12 building category winners and the 50 finalists from 25 countries and their entries are shown online at BambooCompetition.com.

| BT hosted Open House Big Island April 2006 on the Hamakua Coast received media coverage and over 1000 people visited. Open House Maui August 2006, Open House Kauai October 2007 Open houses and home tours are important to introduce Bamboo Living Homes in a new region. |
