Commercial Green Building- Green from the inside out.

The story. In 2008 we were approached with a challenge - could we build a school structure with bamboo?  Rick Ortiz envisioned a green workshop that would inspire his students with their own sustainable building projects. Nothing's tougher on construction than classrooms full of children, but our architects made a plan, consulted with school officials, and the result was featured on the television show Renovation Nation.

So yes, eco-friendly bamboo can be and is used for commercial green building, and why not?  With greater tensile strength than steel and greater compressive strength than concrete, it's actually the strongest renewable building material on earth.
